Sarah Demeuse

An annual publication that reflects on conversations had and insights gleaned throughout Storefront's yearlong thematic exhibition cycle. The books combine select visual materials and a range of texts, from academic essays, to personal reflections, poems, or even recipes. Most contributions are new commissions.

An alternative to an exhibition catalog, the Storefront Reader can exist independently from the gallery exhibitions and is meant to spark further inquiry.

On the Ground features texts and images by: Keller Easterling, Zoe Leonard, Rose Salane, Benjamin Krusling, Steffani Jemison, Canal Street Research Association, Ming Fay, Alvaro Barrington, Danielle Dean, Ilana Harris-Babou, Food Mahjong Club, Germane Barnes, Diane Burns, Geelia Ronkina, Alex Strada, Anna Ozbek, Francisca Benitez, Camila Palomino, Tom Burr, and the Storefront curators.

Swamplands will be published in summer 2025.
